The Emissary is book 1 from the One Great Year Series written by Tamara Veitch and Rene DeFazio.
The story revolves around Marcus and Theron and their love through ages. The characters are well developed through the sections of the book we see their past lives and how their relationship evolves through time.
The word building is intricate and detailed, this gives an important element to the different eras where the story takes place. Tamara’s and Rene’s writing had an academic feel to it, and I won’t be surprised if this story is used in academic essays in the future.
Over all 4 out of 5 stars. Recommended to all if you like descriptive work building and intricate story plots.
