I Danced with Sorrow handles topic that are barely whispered in today’s societies and kept behind closed doors. Alicia portrays it beautifully in this collection of her poems.
The collection completes a journey of girl who was suffering and then finds retribution through writing.
While I flew through the book, the feeling still lingered.
